We currently have more than 35 000 students spread across 24 campuses and locations Australia-wide. We operate campuses in Adelaide, Brisbane, Bundaberg, Cairns, Emerald, Gladstone, Mackay, Melbourne, Noosa, Perth, Rockhampton, Sydney and Townsville. We are leading the way when it comes to providing access to university level education across the country also operating or supporting study centres in Broome, Busselton, Cooma, Geraldton and Karratha.

CQUniversity students have some of the best graduate outcomes in Australia, with data released by Graduate Careers Australia indicating that we have an overall full-time graduate employment rate almost 10 per cent higher than the national average of for Australian resident bachelor degree graduates. Data released by the Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) website also shows that we out perform the majority of Australian universities when it comes to study support, graduate employment and graduate salary outcomes.

CQUniversity is changing the world for the better and is driving this transformation through our social innovation agenda, our students, staff, academics, and communities.
We have embedded the principles of social innovation across our schools (faculties), and across our campuses and study centres and we have also developed a range of social innovation qualifications. Working with government, industry, business and community we hope to empower students to solve real-life challenges locally and internationally.
The first and only Australian university to achieve membership, in 2017, CQUniversity took our social innovation agenda global, accepting the invitation to join Ashoka U, an exclusive international network of universities committed to social innovation, entrepreneurship and impact.
CQUniversity offers a range of vocational courses, including options in accounting and bookkeeping, aged care, beauty, business, childcare, community services, disability, education support, hairdressing, human resources, information technology, justice, management, nursing, paramedic science, project management, retail, training and more. We are one of only a handful of universities in Australia who offer both vocational and degree level courses creating broader opportunities for students to obtain a combination of practical and theoretical skills across their studies.
Undergraduate courses are offered across a broad range of areas including: business, accounting and law; creative, performing and visual arts; education and humanities; engineering and built environment, health, information technology and digital media; psychology, social work and community services; science and environment; and transport and safety sciences.
Our undergraduate courses are offered across our footprint, in most cases capitalising on the natural and economic features of the host region – for example engineering courses are offered throughout Queensland, where there are close ties to the mining sector and innovative tourism courses are available in Cairns where the economy is closely tied to the tourism industry. Students are also able to access our exceptional online courses and platforms, with more than half of the student cohort choosing to learn this way.
